A Michelle Obama documentary is coming to Netflix this May

A documentary about Michelle Obama is coming to Netflix on May 6.

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for "Becoming," and it features a "rare and up-close look" at the life of the former First Lady of the United States.

Viewers will be taken "behind the scenes" as Obama embarks on a 34-city tour for her memoir of the same title.

Her book "Becoming" was published in 2018.

It chronicles her life growing up on Chicago's South Side and her years inside the White House as a mother of two and the nation's first African-American first lady.

The book made international headlines as it firmly criticised current US President Donald Trump for promoting a bigoted conspiracy theory that questioned whether her husband was born in the United States.
