'The Umbrella Academy' Season 2 trailer features a new song by Gerard Way

You might have noticed a familiar voice singing in the background of "The Umbrella Academy" Season 2 trailer.

That’s actually former My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way singing his new track, aptly titled "Here Comes The End," featuring singer Judith Hill.

"The Umbrella Academy" series on Netflix is actually based on comic books and graphic novels of the same name created by Way and Gabriel Ba.

The story follows seven super-powered brothers and sisters who were adopted by an exotic billionaire who trained them how to use their abilities to save the world.

Way posted some lyrics from "Here Comes The End" on his Instagram: "The clock is moving, Hands to midnight, Can we get through this? While the walls come down we all pretend."

Those who watched Season 1 until its apocalyptic end will know how the song fits just right, and based on the trailer, it looks like they have to stop the world from ending all over again.

"The Umbrella Academy" Season 2 is coming to Netflix this July 31.
