Gabbi Garcia donates supplies of late family dog Sunshine to animal shelter

Gabbi Garcia donated the supplies left by their late family dog Sunshine to an animal shelter.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Gabbi shared numerous photos of herself with her family, boyfriend Khalil Ramos, and Pawssion Project's rescued animals. Behind them were sack after sack of dog food and treats.

"Last Sunday, my family and I went to @pawssionproject to donate the supplies that Sunshine left. I'm sure she's smiling up there knowing that other dogs can enjoy her treats," she wrote.

"This is our way of paying it forward because Shine filled us with so much love. Seeing all the dogs in the shelter made our hearts so happy," she added.

Gabbi also thanked and complimented Pawssion Project, an animal welfare group, for their love and dedication to their animals.

Reaching out to other pet owners, the actress said, "Hug your furbabies for me. Cherish each and every moment with them."

Sunshine, Gabbi's adorable toy poodle, passed away in November. According to the actress, Sunshine was a part of their family for almost 14 years. —Kaela Malig/MGP, GMA News
