Some lucky charms to guide you in 2021

With the Chinese New Year just around the corner, everyone's wondering if 2021 will be much better than last year.

After a very strange and shocking year, it wouldn’t hurt to lean on and try out some lucky charms.

In the Friday episode of IRL, a “certified Feng Shui follower” shared some items in her collection that's made her life better.

Buddha

A Buddha figurine is known to attract wealth and prosperity, and feng shui enthusiast Marjorie Lou Aquino placed hers near her front door.

Bamboo Plant

Located in her kitchen, each stalk of her bamboo plant symbolizes wealth, happiness and longevity.

Lucky Cat

According to Marjorie, the Lucky Cat’s hand is always waving because it is inviting good fortune, good health, wealth and prosperity in.

Salt and Vinegar

Water mixed with salt and vinegar serves as a way for cleansing. According to Marjorie, it should be placed where the family gets together.

According to Marjorie, the lucky charms, including her bracelets, make her feel secure and protected. They even help her land jobs in Manila.

Maxima Tiu, owner of a store in Binondo, also shared some of her lucky charms for every need.

She recommends having a wind horse for money and career, while an apple keychain with peace written on it can help with peace of mind, harmony, and love.

According to Maxima, Feng Shui items serve as a “guide for protection,” to feel at ease, without the fear of something bad happening. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
