Marvel's 'Black Widow' unveils official character posters

Scarlett Johansson and the cast of Marvel's "Black Widow" are looking all kinds of fierce in their official posters.

On Twitter, the highly-anticipated spy thriller just released some eye-popping posters featuring Johannson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and Rachel Weisz.

Johannson reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. Black Widow, while "Little Women" actress Florence Pugh portrays Yelena.

We also get a glimpse at "Stranger Things" star David Harbour as Alexei a.k.a. The Red Guardian, Rachel Weisz as Melina, as well as a masked character called the Taskmaster!

According to Marvel, "Black Widow" follows Natasha Romanoff as she "confronts the darker parts of her ledger."

"Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger," the synopsis said.

The action-packed spy thriller, and first film in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, arrives in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on July 9. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
