Inka Magnaye voices Alexandra Trese in TikTok video

After sharing her thoughts on the voice acting in "Trese," Inka Magnaye dropped a Tiktok video with her own attempt to bring Alexandra Trese to life.

On Tuesday, the professional voice actress dubbed a short scene from the Netflix series to show her take on the fierce Babaylan-Mandirigma.

In the scene, Trese spoke to Captain Guerrero about the White Lady of Balete Drive.

"Here's my modest try at doing Trese! I feel like my voice sounds a little too 'mature' for the role, but this was fun to do!" she wrote in the caption.

As of writing, the post has reached over 650,000 views, 89,000 like and 2,000 comments from her followers who had nothing but praises for the artist.

Inka previously defended Liza Soberano, who voiced Alexandra Trese in the Tagalog dub, after her performance drew criticism from viewers. She also praised Shay Mitchell's voice acting in the English dub of the series.

However, Inka also expressed hope that future animated projects will cast voice actors "simply because that is [their] realm."

"I really do wish animated films would give the PH VAs a chance," she said. "Support all Filipino talent. I promise you, we are worth it."

In case you didn't know, Inka became popular after posting a video of her and her mom Lindy reciting the script for Philippine Airlines' in-flight reminders. Lindy got the gig in the 90s and Inka was later chosen for the job in a blind audition.

"Trese" took the top spot in the Netflix Philippines chart on the weekend it premiered. It also took spots in the Top 10 Netflix shows internationally.
