6cyclemind to hold 20th anniversary online concert to raise funds for Typhoon Odette victims

6cyclemind is set to hold its 20th anniversary online concert to raise funds for Typhoon Odette victims in Visayas and Mindanao.

The OPM band, known for its hit songs such as "Sandalan" and "Sige," will hold its online concert for the benefit of #BangonVisMin, a collective fundraising campaign organized by various groups from Cebu.

In partnership with VisMin digital network BAI TV, digital talent agency BAI Social, creators and influencers' gathering BaiCon InFest, the concert aims to raise funds to purchase drinking water, non-perishable food and medicines for the people affected by Typhoon Odette.

The fundraising concert, which is free of charge, will be streamed on December 30, 9 p.m. via 6cyclemind's official Facebook page and YouTube channel.

swept through the country, leaving 397 dead, 83 missing, and 1,147 hurt, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Tuesday.

A total of 4,235,400 people or 1,082,910 families were affected by the typhoon in around 6,000 barangays. According to the agency, the most affected areas were Palawan, Negros Occidental, Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental, Southern Leyte, Leyte, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte.
