'Ms. Marvel' unleashes cosmic first trailer

A teenage girl's dreams to become a superhero comes true in the first trailer of "Ms. Marvel."

The nearly two-minute video posted by Marvel on YouTube introduces Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American from Jersey City who finds herself developing superpowers.

She then balances trying to live her normal teenage life and fighting off villains.

"The future is in her hands," the trailer said.

Starring Iman Vellani, the upcoming series is set to premiere on June 8 on Disney+.
