Philippines' Pearl Hung places 3rd runner-up in Miss Global 2024

Pearl Hung, the Philippines’ representative for the Miss Global 2024, placed 3rd Runner-Up at the pageant.

Puerto Rico's Ashley Melendez was crowned Miss Global during the coronation night at Bayon TV Studio in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Thursday evening.

Haylani Pearl Kuruppu of Samoa is 1st Runner-Up, Chonnikarn Supittayaporn of Thailand is 2nd Runner-Up, and Doan Thu Thuy of Vietnam is 4th Runner-Up.

During her pageant journey, Pearl stunned in several chic long gowns. For the coronation night, she wore a yellow beaded gown, in which the beads give off sparkles when she moves.

For the national costume preliminary competition, the Palawan beauty wore a costume titled Tandikan, inspired by the features of the Palawan Peacock-Pheasant. The overall look was influenced by a Filipina warrior queen.
