Heart Evangelista signs off as Kamiseta's creative director

Heart Evangelista just announced that she’s signing off as the creative director of Kamiseta.

The Kapuso actress and style icon made the announcement on Instagram, where she penned a long, heartfelt letter of thanks to the Filipino fashion brand.

“After two years, I'm officially signing off as @kamisetaph’s Creative Director. I will always cherish the memories I had with the team and I will forever hold these close to my heart,” Heart wrote.

“I am so grateful to have been involved in the inner workings of the brand and to be surrounded by such talented and passionate people who helped me grow so much as a person and as an artist,” she added.

Heart stressed that the decision was “definitely not easy” as her time with the brand has “forever changed my life.”

The Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations also said she was “looking forward to a new beginning.”

“To my Kamiseta family, thank you for letting me be a part of this influential brand. Most of all, thank you for trusting my craft,” Heart wrote.

“It’s not every day I get to work with art and clothing—two of the things I’m deeply passionate about!  Looking forward to a new beginning!” she added.

In 2018, Heart Evangelista and Kamiseta released a highly-successful LM x Kamiseta collaboration that featured her artwork on the brand’s clothing and accessories.

The actress, artist, philantropist, and style icon whose real name is Love Maria Ongpauco Escudero currently designs and curates Maison Love Marie, a Sorsogon-based shop that features locally-made fashion and home items. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
