Fuel companies announce rollback in diesel, gasoline prices

The prices of gasoline and diesel products will go down this week, fuel companies announced.

Cleanfuel and Phoenix Petroleum said the prices of their diesel product will decrease by P1.50 per liter.

Their prices of gasoline, meanwhile, will be cut by P1.00 per liter.

Cleanfuel's price adjustment will take effect at 8:01 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14.

Phoenix Petroleum, meanwhile, will adjust their prices effective 6 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14.

In separate advisories, more firms announced adjustments that will be implemented at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2020:

Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. said they will reduce prices per liter of gasoline by P1.00, diesel by P1.55, and kerosene by P1.45

Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which it does not carry.

Chevron Philippines Inc. will also make the same adjustments, which will take effect 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to the latest data available from the Department of Energy, year-to-date adjustments stand at a net decrease of P4.22 per liter for gasoline, P9.44 for diesel, and P13.94 for kerosene as of September 8, 2020. — with Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/KG/RSJ/BM, GMA News
