Rapid mass testing for COVID-19 infection was conducted in the barangay during the hard lockdown, resulting in the increased number of confirmed cases.

Barangay officials believe the seven-day hard lockdown was successful, noting that only a little over 20 people apprehended for violations during that period.

Sixteen people were added to the list of residents with COVID-19 in the barangay, bringing the total number to 75.

Despite the opening of the supermarket, vendors who refused to be tested for the disease were not allowed to resume their operations. --KBK, GMA News
