Quezon City COVID-19 cases climb to 2,175

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Quezon City as tallied by the Department of Health reached 2,175 on Monday night, the QC government said early Tuesday.

This represents an increase of 48 cases from Friday night's tally of 2,127 cases.

The local government unit said 2,038 confirmed cases had complete addresses in Quezon City.

The QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices meanwhile have validated 1,888 cases.

The active COVID-19 cases numbered 807 as of Monday night, 7 p.m.

Total recoveries reached 900 on Monday from the 841 record on Friday.

The death toll meanwhile rose from 177 on Friday to 181 on Monday.
