Cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Navotas City were trending downwards, Mayor Toby Tiangco declared in a Facebook post.

Navotas recorded 4,295 COVID-19 cases with 3,678 recoveries and 123 deaths as of Sunday night.

Meanwhile, Tiangco enjoined residents to take advantage of the local government’s free swab testing program.

Pag mas marami tayong ma-test, mas mapapababa natin ang mga kaso,” he said in Sunday post.
