The Quezon City government's Task Force Disiplina fined the customers of a restobar in Quezon City for allegedly violating the city's curfew ordinance, according to Jonathan Andal's report on Dobol B sa News TV on Sunday.

The 26 customers were fined P300 each after Task Force Disiplina officers caught them at the establishment past curfew.

However, restobar owner Atty. Chris Beltran said that the customers were just finishing their drinks, which they ordered before the start of the curfew.

Citing QC's general community quarantine regulations, Beltran argued that the restobar was only prohibited from serving customers after the curfew starts.

However, according to one of the Task Force Disiplina officers, their team had surveilled the establishment for two days and they confirmed that the restobar was ignoring the curfew.

Aside from this, the Task Force Officer said only one of the bar's servers had a health certificate. Because of this, the officer said that the establishment may face closure. — DVM, GMA News
