Mayor Malapitan: Curfew in Caloocan now from 12 midnight to 3 a.m.

The city government of Caloocan on Friday announced a shortened curfew hours, which will be from 12 midnight to 3 a.m.

Mayor Oscar Malapitan recently signed Executive Order No. 045-2020 which will allow the enforcement of the reduced curfew hours. This was also in preparation for the observance of Simbang Gabi this holiday season.

The Metro Manila Council earlier said a shortened curfew would allow the public to attend the traditional Simbang Gabi this holiday season.

San Juan City also implemented the same curfew hours.

Malapitan reminded city residents to observe the proper health protocols when attending the Simbang Gabi.

He also reminded the public that those aged 17 and below as well as 65 and above are still not allowed to go out amid the community quarantine. — Anna Felicia Bajo/RSJ, GMA News
