Portion of Mindanao Avenue in QC closed due to fallen posts

A portion of Mindanao Avenue northbound in Quezon City has been closed to traffic early Tuesday due to fallen posts, GMA News' James Agustin reported.

Two posts fell when a truck drove into low hanging cables.

A witness saw a spark from one of the posts and the truck traveling in the southward direction.

Meanwhile, traffic enforcers temporarily allowed the counterflow of vehicles as the posts and cable wires remained on the road.

The posts and electric and communication cables were cleared off the road past 5 a.m., Agustin reported on Unang Balita.

Traffic eased up although the volume of vehicles remained heavy due to the build-up. —BAP/KG, GMA News
