The Medical City on Monday announced that its COVID-19 floors, emergency room, and intensive care unit have reached full capacity.

In an advisory, the hospital advised those seeking urgent care for COVID-19 to use the One Hospital Command or consider other institutions.

"We assure you that the health and safety of our patients, COVID and non-COVID, remain our utmost priority. We continue to provide quality patient care in the safest and most appropriate setting," the hospital said.

"As we deal with this recurring situation, we remind you to follow all recommended measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 -- wear a mask, practice proper hand hygiene and physical distancing, avoid crowded and poorly ventilated places, and get vaccinated when it's made available to you," it added.

Earlier, the Department of Health reported that the country is now at high risk for COVID-19.
