DLSU opens doors to cross enrollees

Students from other schools may now apply at De La Salle University as it opens doors to cross enrollees through the Lasallian Open Online-learning Program or LOOP.

“LOOP is offered by DLSU as a lead institution in CHED’s efforts to set standards in online education,” said the post on its Facebook page Wednesday.

The program allows students from partner schools, state colleges and universities, and other educational institutions in the Philippines and abroad to enroll in DLSU courses that can be credited to the degree program in their home school.

According to the university, the program aims to help undergraduate and graduate students who need to move up in their program of study, but the opportunity to earn required units is unavailable at their home school due to the pandemic.

Tuition for cross enrollees will be similar to the rate of their home school.

Cross enrollees are required to comply with school requirements to earn grades which will be submitted by the DLSU registrar to their home schools for crediting, enabling them to graduate on time.

Deadline to submit application is on June 27, while online cross enrollment will run from June 17-30. Online classes will start on July 1.
