Senate to hold necrological services for ex-Senator Ramon Revilla Sr. on Wednesday

A necrological service for former senator and film actor Ramon Revilla Sr. will be held by the Senate this week, according to the office of Senator Bong Revilla Jr. on Monday.

The service will be conducted in the session hall at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

"Senate President Vicente C. Sotto III will present a resolution to Revilla’s family commending the former senator," the advisory read.

Further details regarding the rites have not been made available as of posting time.

The media were also encouraged to view and monitor the service online as it will be livestreamed.
