73 more PNP personnel test positive for COVID-19

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) rose to 4,403 on Saturday after the agency reported 73 new infections.

Fifty-six more police officers have also recovered from the illness, bringing the total to 3,057, while the death toll remained at 16.

At present, there are 3,067 suspect and 757 probable cases within the agency.

PNP personnel with symptoms similar to COVID-19 were advised to reach out the PNP Health Service.

Meanwhile, the Philippines has reported a total of 234,570 cases with 161,668 recoveries and 3,790 fatalities. — DVM, GMA News
