PHLPost issues special stamps honoring teachers

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd) and Metrobank Foundation Inc. released on Monday special stamps to highlight the “incredible feats” of teachers.

In the “My Teacher, My Hero National Teachers’ Month special stamps,” teachers were likened to superheroes.

The stamps also have the words “I am good”, “I am a star”, “I am bright” and “I am brave”.

National Teachers’ Month will be held in October.

This year’s theme for National Teachers’ Month is “Gurong Pilipino: Handa sa Makabagong Pagbabago”.

The stamps will be sold at P12, P14, P15, and P17 each at the PHLPost office in Lawton, Manila. —KG, GMA News
