Revilla to go after bashers, people spreading fake news about him

Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. on Saturday said he will be going after some of his bashers and those who spread "fake news" that he was already dead.

Revilla said Senate President Vicente Sotto III had already filed a bill penalizing fake news or disinformation spread online.

The senator tested positive for COVID-19 back in August.

While still recovering from COVID-19, he said he was hurt by some ill-wishers who wanted him dead.

On August 24, Revilla announced he was cleared for discharge and was advised to continue his treatment at home. -Jamil Santos/MDM, GMA News
