Photo with security aides 'old,' not taken during Ulysses —VP Robredo

Vice President Leni Robredo is urging the public to report a Twitter post which used an old photo of her to accuse her of having too many security personnel amid the need to rescue people in the aftermath of Typhoon Ulysses.

“The photo was taken two years ago when I visiter Agutaya, Northern, Palawan. Naglakad po kami from the boat to the shore kasi hindi na kayang makalapit nung sinakyan namin,” Robredo said of the photo.

Ulysses has displaced hundreds of thousands of people due to flooding in Metro Manila and nearby Rizal province.

On Thursday night, Robredo personally distributed relief goods to typhoon victims in Rizal and Marikina City. --Llanesca T. Panti/KBK, GMA News
