Cops, soldiers help deliver babies amid Ulysses, floods

Some members of the armed forces involved in rescue operations helped pregnant women deliver their babies amid flood and a storm.

According to a report on State of the Nation, a policeman helped in the delivery of a baby girl amid flood waters in Barangay Bagay.

Her mother was among those who were evacuated after flood waters rose in the aftermath of Typhoon Ulysses.

In Pasakaw, Camarines Sur, a woman gave birth in an Army truck while Ulysses battered the province.

Soldiers, a nurse and a member of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office helped in the delivery of another baby.

The mother and her child were brought to a lying-in clinic. -NB, GMA News
