14 more PNP personnel test positive for COVID-19

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) climbed to 7,771 on Thursday with 14 more employees testing positive for the illness.

Latest data from the PNP showed that total recoveries rose to 7,366 after 33 additional police officers defeated the viral disease.

The death toll, meanwhile, remained at 25.

So far, there are 380 active COVID-19 cases within the police organization.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 increased to 413,430 including 7,998 deaths and 374,939 recoveries.

Of the remaining 30,493 active cases undergoing treatment or quarantine, 84.5 % of are mild, 8 % are asymptomatic, 2.5 % are severe, and 4.7 % are in critical condition. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/BM, GMA News
