Rescue operations were also continuing as some of the areas that were not prone to hazards had unexpectedly experienced flooding.

In its 2 p.m. bulletin, state weather bureau PAGASA lifted the all remaining storm signal as Tropical Depression Auring was downgraded into a low-pressure area (LPA).

The LPA was heading toward the eastern coast of Albay, PAGASA said. — Joviland Rita/DVM, GMA News
