Thirty percent of the employees of the Department of Justice (DOJ) will be allowed to physically report for work beginning on Wednesday, Secretary Menardo Guevarra said Tuesday.

Guevarra said the five-day lockdown of the DOJ premises in Manila would end on Tuesday as the rise in COVID-19 cases in the department has “apparently slowed down.”

“Starting tomorrow until April 4, we’ll operate at 30% capacity onsite. The rest will continue to work from home,” he said.

The Justice chief placed the DOJ premises under lockdown from March 12 to 16.

He reimposed it on March 19 due to a surge in cases, with a skeleton staff tasked to receive documents and attend to other frontline services during the lockdown period. —KG, GMA News
