The percentage of Filipinos willing to get vaccinated against COVID-19 increased to 43% in June from 16% in February, results of a Pulse Asia survey released on Monday showed.

The survey, which was conducted on June 7 to 16, revealed that 43% are willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine as against 36% who don't want to get vaccinated, three months after the government started its COVID-19 vaccination program on March 1.

The rest of Filipino adults were unsure of whether they will get vaccinated (16%), or have already been vaccinated (5%) either fully (2%) or partially (3%).

The same survey also showed that the highest percentage of willingness to get vaccinated was registered in the National Capital Region at 55%, followed by Mindanao at 48%.
