PNP COVID-19 cases now 38,476

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday said 158 new COVID-19 cases were reported, driving up the total tally of coronavirus infections to 38,476.

Of this number, 2,328 are active, according to data from the PNP Health Service.

Total recoveries went up to 36,035 after 242 new recoveries were reported.

Meanwhile, the death toll stood at 113.

The country’s total number of COVID-19 cases reached 2,385,616 after 18,937 new infections were reported by the Department of Health.

Of this number, 176,850 are active; 2,171,832 recovered; and 36,934 died. —KG, GMA News
