Former Ifugao Representative Teddy Baguilat, an indigenous peoples’ leader, filed his certificate of candidacy for senator on Friday.

He will run under the Liberal Party, headed by the tandem of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis Pangilinan.

He vowed to represent the IPs in the Senate.

Baguilat said he will push for the passage of the Land Use Act, a new mining law, sustainable forest management, as well as the Freedom of Information, among others.

On Thursday, Baguilat disclosed his Senate plans for the 2022 polls.
