PNP COVID-19 cases reach 40,760

The number of COVID-19 cases among the personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) reached 40,760 on Saturday.

This was after 89 new cases were reported on Saturday, according to the PNP Health Service.

Active cases totalled 1,461.

With 293 new recoveries meanwhile, the total recoveries so far reached 39,178.

The death toll remained at 121, same as on Friday.

The Department of Health on Friday said 10,670 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country, pushing up the total tally to 2,643,494.

Of this number, 118,203 are active; 2,486,059 recovered; while 39,232 died. —KG GMA News
