Frontliner in Bauan, Batangas tests positive for COVID-19

A 25-year-old male frontliner is the latest case of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Bauan, Batangas.

According to a report on 24 Oras News Alert, the infected frontliner brought the total number of cases in Bauan to six.

The municipal health office said the patient was an employee in Manila.

Contact-tracing information indicates that he went home to Bauan in April. Upon returning to Manila, he exhibited symptoms of the illness.

The patient then underwent a swab test and eventually found positive for COVID-19 last May 23.

He is currently confined in a hospital in Makati.
