Zambales reports 55 new COVID-19 cases, total at 324

Zambales on Saturday reported 55 new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases, according to Saleema Refran’s report on “24 Oras News Alert.”

The Provincial Health Office said that 46 of the new cases came from Masinloc while nine came from the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy in San Narciso.

There are a total of 324 COVID-19 cases in the province. Of this, 169 are active cases, 154 have recovered, and one succumbed to the illness.

Meanwhile, the Philippines had 213,131 total confirmed cases with 135,101 recoveries and 3,419 fatalities. — Joahna Lei Casilao/DVM, GMA News
