7 frontliners, 3 students among new COVID-19 cases in GenSan

General Santos City has recorded 23 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), including seven frontline workers and three students.

Residents were prohibited from going out of their homes starting Sunday as COVID-19 cases continued to rise in the city, according to a 24 Oras News Alert on Saturday.

The city's Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) said they will ease the "Sunday lockdown" should the cases go below 100.

As of November 20, there are 1,054 confirmed cases in the city where 175 were either active or under recovery. -Jamil Santos/MDM, GMA News
