22 houses placed under lockdown in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro due to COVID-19 cases

Twenty-two houses were placed under critical zone lockdown in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro due to the clustering of COVID-19 cases, according to a report on News TV Live on Sunday.

The houses are located in Barangay San Agustin.

According to the Municipal Health Office, 3 COVID-19 cases were found in the area.

One person who earlier tested positive for COVID-19 did home quarantine but left the house and was able to pass on the virus to others.

The lockdown will be in effect for a week during which targeted testing and contact tracing will be conducted. —KG, GMA News
