Samar farmer found beheaded, riddled with bullets

A farmer was found in Gandara, Samar beheaded, with his body riddled with bullets.

According to Oscar Oida’s Friday report on “State of the Nation,” the victim, identified as Christopher Wahingon, was last seen alive on Tuesday morning.

Initial investigation showed that six armed men visited the plantation of the victim on the day he went missing.

Authorities are still looking for the suspects as well as the motive behind the crime.

Cebu buy-bust

Meanwhile, P27 million worth of suspected shabu was seized by authorities during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mambaling in Cebu City.

Police said the suspects fired at them, leading to a shootout.

Two suspects were killed during the operation.

Authorities said the suspects get their illegal drugs from within the New Bilibid Prison. — DVM, GMA News
