Remains in Biñan starting to queue at crematoriums, says mayor

The number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in Biñan has reached the level that patients are being treated at a hospital parking lot and the remains of the dead have to queue at the city's crematoriums.

According to Jun Veneracion's report on "24 Oras", Biñan Mayor Arman Dimaguila said COVID-19 cases in the city had doubled in Augusr.

Staff of the Ospital ng Biñan had to put out folding beds at the parking lot just to accommodate more patients. The hospital also set up tents around the compound.

In Bacoor, Cavite, hospitals were also at full capacity.
