Genshin Impact unveils Nahida's first official poster

A little over a month after Sumeru went live, HoYoverse has unveiled Nahida's first official poster on Monday.

"Lesser Lord Kusanali dwelt deep in the Sanctuary of Surasthana. She had never really been in the limelight, nor had she even been mentioned much," Genshin Impact wrote on Twitter, referring to Nahida by one of her titles as the Dendro god or Archon.

Nahida is the fourth Archon that would be playable, making a four-Archon team lineup finally possible once she goes live on servers, possibly by October.

Leaker account UBatcha has seeded rumors that Nahida is a Catalyst user, and that her gameplay would involve a camera mechanic not unlike the recent Fayz Trials.

UBatcha also suggests she would be a versatile addition to team compositions.

"Is she support? Is she DPS? Idk! How about both! Maybe save, she looks very fun," UBatcha wrote on Twitter Monday.

Aside from Nahida, HoYoverse also unveiled brand-new character Layla, who would be affiliated with the Cryo or ice element.

"A Rtawahist student, Layla specializes in Theoretical Astrology and draws star charts tirelessly in order to write her thesis," Genshin Impact said.
