Ilocos, CAR, Cagayan Valley will be cloudy with isolated rains due to southwesterly windflow

The southwesterly windflow will be affecting Northern Luzon while the easterlies will be affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwesterly windflow. The weather bureau warns that flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies or localized thunderstorms. There is also a possibility that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed for Palawan and the Visayas is light to moderate moving southeastward while the coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to southwest direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.

In Mindanao, the forecast wind speed is light to moderate moving eastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
