LRT2 temporarily stops operations due to signaling system problem

The Light Rail Transit-Line 2 (LRT2) on Saturday morning temporarily stopped operations due to a problem with its signaling system.

In a tweet posted at 7 a.m., the Light Rail Transit Authority said the train services of the whole line from Recto to Antipolo stations and vice versa were affected.

It added that its personnel were at the site to fix the problem.

The LRTA apologized to the public for the inconvenience.

Normal full operations resumed past 1 p.m.

On Wednesday, November 3, the LRT2 also temporarily stopped operations due to a problem with its signaling system. —KG, GMA News
