MRT-3 resumes operations after signaling problem
Metro Rail Transit-Line 3 (MRT-3) resumed its operations Tuesday afternoon after temporarily suspending it due to a signaling problem before noon, according to the MRT3 management.
The MRT-3 management said its full operations from North Avenue station to Taft Avenue station resumed as of 12:45 p.m.
“As of 12:45 pm, MRT-3 resumed full operations from North Avenue station to Taft Avenue station (both bounds), with 17 running trains,” the management said in an advisory.
The management earlier said all trains must stop in the nearest station while troubleshooting was ongoing.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and please stand by for further announcements. Thank you,” it added.
