LJ Reyes called for the Filipinos to display the bayanihan spirit amid the country's fight against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In an Instagram post, the Kapuso actress urged everyone to do their part and contribute to the efforts to curb the virus by staying at home.

"Everyone in the community shares the burden for the benefit of one. Ngayon nakalimutan na ata natin kung paano to," she said.

"If you can do more, pls do! Lalo na yung malalaking kumpanya!" she added.

She called on Filipinos to stop spreading negativity and instead give a helping hand when you can.

"Kakayanin natin to basta tulungan tayo!" she said. "Punuan ang pagkukulang."
