Alden Richards mulls over joining Philippine Air Force

Alden Richards revealed that he is thinking of joining the Philippine Air Force as a way to give back to the country.

According to Audrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," the Asia's Multimedia Star talked about his plans in an Instagram live video.

When a fan asked about the Air Force, Alden confirmed that he received an invitation and shared that he is considering it.

"I'm just clearing things up with the management," he said. "Syempre it's a way for people who are really concerned sa Pilipinas and I want to be a part of it."

Alden wouldn't be the first Kapuso celebrity to be a part of the military should he decide to join.

"Descendants of the Sun" actor Dingdong Dantes was recently named a Lieutenant Commander of the Philippine Navy while his co-star Rocco Nacino is Petty Officer 3rd Class.

Meanwhile, singer Ronnie Liang is serving the country as a second lieutenant in the Philippine Army. —Kaela Malig/MGP, GMA News
