Heart Evangelista has no plans to enter politics: 'I can help without that kind of power'

Heart Evangelista on Wednesday said she has no plans to enter politics.

On Twitter, Heart spoke up on the matter after a netizen reposted photos Heart shared on her Instagram Stories, where she's seen helping out an old lady in Sorsogon. Heart's husband Chiz Escudero, as we all know, is a governor of the province.

The caption of the netizen's post read, "Hoping Heart Evangelista won't enter politics," which the Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations simply had to reply: "Politics is not for me. I can help without that kind of power."

The Kapuso star officially launched a new project called the "Big Heart PH" on Wednesday, July 1, aiming to help equip students with tools for education as schools adapt to online learning as the new normal.

She earlier gave away tablets to students who don't have one to use for online schooling. All through the lockdown, Heart had been extending a helping hand with her relief efforts. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
