Heart Evangelista visits hospitals in Sorsogon, distributes thousands of bottles of Vitamin C

After launching her "Big Heart PH" initiative, Heart Evangelista continues to help others in her own way.

Amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the Kapuso actress and style icon visited hospitals in Sorsogon.

She said she also gave away over 7,000 bottles of Vitamin C.

Heart was able to reunite with her husband Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero after over 100 days of being apart.

The two have been apart since President Rodrigo Duterte placed Metro Manila under Enhanced Community Quarantine in March, with Heart staying put in Manila and Chiz, leading Sorsogon through the COVID-19 crisis.

Heart has been giving away cash and groceries to people in need since the quarantine started.

Recently, she also launched Big Heart PH to help equip students with tools for education as most schools adapt to the new normal with online learning.
