Alessandra de Rossi thankful to viewers for supporting ‘Through Night and Day’

Alessandra de Rossi on Monday expressed her gratitude for the support for "Through Night and Day" after it began streaming on Netflix.

The film, in which she co-stars with Kapuso actor Paolo Contis as a newly engaged couple, has been trending on social media, with netizens commending their performances and the film's tearjerking storyline.

"Trending pa rin ang #throughnightandday. Walang hanggang pasasalamat sa lahat ng nagrerecommend at nagpropromote," Alessandra wrote on Twitter.

The film premiered in 2018 but it only received an overwhelming amount of attention after it was made available to stream on Netflix on July 9.

"Kasi magisa lang akong nagpromote nyan noon. Di ko naman kaya yun. Ano? Superstar? Char. Thank you ulit, my heart is melting, thank you for watching!" she added.

"Through Night and Day" follows the story of Ben and Jen, who have been together for 13 years and are on a trip to Iceland, Jen's lifelong dream destination, where they be face conflicts and misfortunes together.
