“I was really saddened po nung nabalitaan ko po ’yung nangyari kay Miss Lani and, I can see her struggle sa face niya, nakikita ko sa mga guestings niya po ... pero mas nangingibabaw po ’yung nakikita ko, she’s fighting it na, kumbaga, she’s gonna get better,” Garrett told reporters in a press conference on Friday.

“Naisip ko po what if sa ’kin mangyari yun, siguro baka ako, mapanghinaan nalang po ako ng loob eh, pero ayun po, naisip ko po na she’s fighting it, yes parang, ‘laban lang po,’” he added.
