SB19’s Pablo to mark premiere of GMA’s new podcast ‘Behind the Song’

Oh wow. GMA's new podcast 'Behind the Song' will drop next week with SB19’s Pablo as guest!

In an online interview with the press on Wednesday, “Behind the Song” host Thea Astley revealed that the P-Pop group member is set to appear in the very first episode together with producer Simon Servida.

“Sobrang nag-fangirl ako nung first episode. Una pa lang, tapos SB19 na. Na-push through naman," Thea told GMA News Online excitedly.

[“I really fangirled on the first episode. It’s the first but it’s already SB19. We pushed through.”]

“Behind the Song” is GMA Network’s upcoming podcast that will allow artists from all over the world to talk about their music and what goes on behind their preparations for it.

Apart from local artists like Mikee Quintos and Julie Anne San Jose, Thea has also interviewed K-Pop group BTOB, The Happy Fits, and mxmtoon.

Apart from the artists themselves, the Kapuso singer said the team behind them will also be given a spotlight to share how and why they came up with their songs.

“In every episode, we have either the composer or song producer or even both ‘cause they’re just as much a part of creating the song,” she said.

"We just want to tell listeners that every song has an important story behind it,” she said. “Hopefully, they learn something from that.”

The first episode will begin streaming for free on September 28 on Spotify. The full video interview, meanwhile, will be available the following Thursday on GMA Network’s social media pages. — LA, GMA News
