Gil Cuerva hopes to work with Bea Alonzo in a project

Gil Cuerva said he is hoping to work with new Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo.

"It doesn’t have to be yung [ka] pair niya. Just to be with her in [a] show, I feel like would be really really great would be an honor," Gil told GMA News Online in a post-signing interview.

The Kapuso hunk was asked who among the Kapuso actresses he wanted to work with and Gil admitted, "It’s hard not to mention si Ms. Bea Alonzo. I’d love to work with her."

Aside from Bea, Gil would also want to work with Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

Although Gil is getting good with hosting through "Taste Buddies," even winning an award, he said his "hunger is still in acting because there’s so much more I can explore about myself. Many more things I want to do when it comes to acting, many more things I want to do."

Gil said he would want to do more romantic comedies in the future — "whether as the leading man, the second lead, the kontrabida, cameo, whatever."

"I think romcoms kasi are a very light and enjoyable show for yung mga Kapuso viewers to watch," he said.

Last October, Gil and his co-host Solenn Heussaff won Best Lifestyle Show Hosts by PMPC for "Taste Buddies." Meanwhile, "Taste Buddies" also won Best Lifestyle Show.

Gil recently renewed his contract with GMA Artist Center. — LA, GMA News
